Shipping & Handling Policy
For your convenience we use three methods of shipping our packages to our customers
and they are as follows: UPS Ground which delivers in 3 to 5 days from the time
of shipment. One advantage of UPS is that all orders are automatically insured up
to $100.00 per shipment. If your order is in excess of the $100.00 limit additional
insurance charges will be applied. We can ship UPS using their other options of
Next Day, Second Day, as well as 3rd day select but the most economical and the
preferred way is UPS ground. When selecting UPS during the check out process the
shipping charges will be calculated from the UPS calculator on the UPS web site.
USPS (United States Postal Service) ground service (which is parcel post) as well
as the preferred way to ship within USPS which delivers in 2 to 8 days from time
of shipment. If you select USPS as your method of shipment please note that insurance
is not included in the shipping charge and you will have to click on the insurance
portion and add it to the order so that your shipment is insured. If you choose
not to insure the package and it arrives damaged we are not responsible for the
loss. When selecting USPS during the check out process the shipping charges will
be calculated from the USPS calculator on the USPS web site.
Third is Truck Freight for items indicated with a Truck (image) in the description
these are delivered by a freight carrier. The carrier will schedule a delivery time
and provide curbside delivery, unless white glove service is advertised for the
item. The customer is responsible for moving their goods into the house and setting
it up. Assembly instructions are provided.
The customer is responsible for all freight charges and restocking fees if they
refuse delivery of these items. Both of the freight charges and the restocking fee
will be subtracted from the customers refund when a customer refuses delivery or
cancels their order while their merchandise is in transit. Please call for these
items needed to be shipped to Canada or Alaska.
The customer should inspect the merchandise for damages prior to signing the bill
of lading for merchandise shipped via a freight carrier. Once the bill of lading
is signed the customer owns the merchandise and is responsible for any damages.
If you have different shipping preference other than the three listed above please
let us knows and we will arrange for a quote and advise you of the actual charges
for that method.
At the present time we do not ship overseas so if you live outside the United States
or Canada please contact us and we will see what arrangements can be made to ship
to your location. As always we are willing to combine items in order to reduce shipping
costs all you have to do is ask us.
Delivery Time
We ship orders within 48 hours on business days from the day that your order was
received. Once the order is shipped it should arrive at the shipping address within
2 to 5 business days for UPS Ground shipments and 2 to 8 days for USPS “Parcel Post”
and for Truck Freight items 5 to 10 days from ship date.
